We are not Alone: Legacies of Eugenics displayed during the Think Human Festival in Oxford
The exhibition was on display at the Oxford Brookes University between 17 and 18 April and at the Museum of Oxford between 19 and 20 April, during the Think Human festival. Professor Marius Turda also organised two events in connection with the exhibition: he first focused on disability and sterilisation with contributions from Ramandeep Kaur and Terry-Lee (see video below); the second dealt with anti-Roma racism and featured Terezia Rostas and John Henry Phillips.
The exhibition ‘We are not Alone’: Legacies of Eugenics’ travels to Brazil
At the beginning of April 2024, at the invitation of Professor Gracyelle Costa from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Professor Robert Wegner from Casa de Oswaldo Cruz, Marius travelled to Rio with the exhibition on the legacies of eugenics. He also gave lectures and participated in discussions with Brazilian students and scholars of eugenics.

On 12 March 2024 the exhibition ‘We are not Alone’: Legacies of Eugenics opened at the Jewish Community of Belgrade, followed by a conference at University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Philosophy.
On Stigma and Racism
On 19 February 2024, Prof Marius Turda gave a lecture at the University of Bucharest on the topic of eugenic stigmatisation and anti-Roma racism.

Between 23 and 27 January 2024, the We are not Alone: Legacies of Eugenics exhibition was on display at Millennium Gallery in Sheffield, part of a wider event to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day.

We are not Alone: Legacies of Eugenics displayed at the British Society of the History of Medicine Congress held in Cardiff (13-16 September 2023). Professor Marius Turda offered a plenary talk, chaired by Dr Peter Carpenter.
Symposium on Eugenics and Psychology covered by The European Times
Professor Marius Turda and the British Psychological Society (BPS), through its Challenging Histories Group, organised and hosted a symposium at the 18th European Congress of Psychology on July 4th, 2023 which explored the legacies of eugenics in psychology, past and present.
